About Adia
My Story
Welcome! I'm Adia Coleman, a food lover and Registered Dietitian with a passion for helping people establish healthy eating habits that are in harmony with God's natural design.
I'm a 2016 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. I completed my supervised dietetic practice through Lenoir-Rhyne University. Prior to nutrition studies, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Hampton University and a Master of Public Health degree from Medical College of Virginia at Virginia Commonwealth University.

I began my career in health & wellness over 8 years ago as a Weight Loss Coach and have also worked as a Naturopathic Lifestyle Coach assisting a Board Certified Naturopathic Doctor.
In addition to my private practice, I am currently a consultant Clinical Dietitian in Skilled Nursing/Long-term Care, where I assess and monitor the nutritional status of all residents and provide medical nutrition therapy for Diabetes, Heart Failure, Renal Dialysis, Tube Feeding, Malnutrition, and Wounds.
Patients and clients appreciate my thorough, evidence-based, and practical nutrition counseling. I explain nutrition concepts in ways that are easy to grasp & offer creative solutions for helping clients overcome road blocks to lifestyle change.
When I'm not helping clients, I'm dancing, gardening, painting, experimenting in the kitchen, and looking for the next assignment from the Lord!
Blessings in Health!
